I recorded 35 hours of footage and have now arranged it into a concise hour and 45 minute feature documentary; a time capsule adventure into Ugandan culture. We stayed in a village just north of Kampala called Wampeewo, working and playing with kids, collecting water from a bore hole, experiencing new cuisine, and playing football (a.k.a. soccer) at the local pitch. The documentary progresses with a series of interviews of the "director" of the orphanage and us then moves into other areas such as political interviews about the war in Northern Uganda, which I attained after participating in the Gulu Walk. |
